Once upon a time, there was a confidential and exclusive luxury, deeply human and poetic, rooted in the quality of intentions and materials, in imagination and meaning.
Born in Cannes, Olivier Durbano is deeply rooted in Grasse, the world capital of perfume. His family has lived there for several generations: his great-grandparents already cultivated flowers for perfumery. It is in this land steeped in scents and legends that he grew up, where perfume, stone and mystery meet.
Trained as an architect, he chose this path to learn how to create, to structure space and matter. It was during his first year of architecture, on his very first trip and first flight, that he went to Syria. In a flea market, he stopped in front of magnificent ancient stone beads. Instant love at first sight. He brought them back in his suitcase. A few months later, these beads led him to create his very first necklace: a powerful reconnection with stones, forgotten since childhood — that famous tantrum at the age of five in a market to get his first stone.
For over twenty years, he has been transforming these stones, crystals and gems into true Stone Poem Perfumes and Stone Poem Jewels. Each creation is an intimate dialogue. Sometimes inspired by a real stone chosen with care, sometimes by a more mystical and esoteric mineral vision, each piece becomes a journey through space and time.
Olivier listens to them, feels them, associates them and stages them in unique necklaces, niche eaux de parfum and magnificent cotton or silk shawls that carry fragments of minerals within them. Everything is imagined and composed in Grasse, in an artisanal workshop, in close collaboration with trusted artisans with whom he has been working for twenty years.
Everything is carried by the heart and by true craftsmanship.
